A price jumped on SuperForex MT4. Is this an error by SuperForex?
There are various situations that can cause a price quote to jump from a price to another, showing a gap in the market price chart.
The situation may be caused by:
- Extremely Low Liquidity
- If the liquidity of the market is extremely low, then the price can jump from one to another. It is because there is no liquidity available at certain market prices, thus creating a gap in the market price chart.
- Weekend opening price and closing price
- You may often see a price gap between the market closing price on Fridays and the market opening price on Mondays.
